About Us
Mission
Catholic Education Foundation (CEF) is an independent, nonprofit corporation committed primarily to providing tuition assistance to students interested in attending or currently attending Lancaster Deanery parish elementary schools and or Lancaster Catholic High School.
CEF has committed to step forward to take the lead in advancing the mission of our Catholic Schools. Our mission is to raise and manage sufficient funds to support Catholic education which will allow Catholic schools to be accessible to all families of the Lancaster Deanery.
Founded in 2014, Catholic Education Foundation is a 501(c)(3) status as a tax-deductible nonprofit with a Federal Tax EIN 47-1923684.
Operations
CEF operates like a bank trust department. Every effort is made to honor donor wishes while alive or in a will. The Foundation is equipped to accept donations of stock, real estate, personal property and will honor any donor stipulations about liquidation or holding the asset within the Foundation.
Though a partnership with Schwab, CEF invests comingled funds in products yielding a conservative rate of return.
